As the Internet becomes increasingly familiar to more and more
adults, we will begin to see great strides in the acceptance of distance
learning. Even today there are far too many, unfamiliar with online
learning, that thinks that taking classes online is a copout and really
doesn't hold the same value as those classes taken on the college
campus. These individuals believe that online learning is actually
easier than a traditional classroom. This couldn't be further from the
truth. While there are many advantages to online learning, there are
also many pitfalls making it much more difficult than the traditional
classroom experience. Yes, there are quite a number of excellent benefits to online
training, but only if you are prepared and understand what is expected
of you. If not, if you go into this without understanding what is
required, you can expect to become discouraged and frustrated very
quickly and will most likely give up and have a negative opinion of
